Educational Qualifications: • MD(Physiology)/DNB(Physiology) Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore – Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Three years Physical Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce relevant Government Order/Equivalency certificate.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must follow General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette Notification. Compulsory Military Service for 4 years during the first 10 years of service is required (with exemptions for differently abled and those over 45). Disciplinary action as per Rules of Procedure Rule 22 for bogus claims.
