Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (NCA-SCCC) in Medical Education Service. Category No: 160/2019. Vacancies: SCCC- 01 (One). Scale of Pay: As per UGC Norms. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to SCCC Community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-11-2019 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Medical Post Graduate Degree such as MD/MS from a recognized university/ DNB in concerned discipline. • In the absence of candidates with the above qualifications, candidates with the following qualification as per mother notification will be considered: Medical Post Graduate Degree such as MD/MS from a recognized university/ DNB in the concerned discipline. • In the absence of candidates with the above qualifications, candidates with the following qualifications will be considered for appointment as LECTURER (Salary as per UGC norms): MBBS Degree from a recognised University. Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore- Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Three years teaching experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.

Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service anywhere in India or any other foreign country under Defence Services connected with Defence, if required.
