Who can apply

Kerala PSC has invited applications for Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology in Medical Education Service (Category No. 02/2021). Vacancies: 09 (Nine); pay scale: As per UGC norms; method of appointment: Direct Recruitment. Apply online through Kerala PSC One Time Registration by 21-04-2021.

Age limit

22-45. Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other backward communities is applicable. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • DM/DNB in Medical Oncology Technical Qualifications: • Registration with Travancore Cochin Medical Council or Medical Council of India Experience Required: In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, candidates with MD/DNB in General Medicine/Radio Therapy/Paediatrics with 2 years of special training in Medical Oncology will be considered. Additional experience requirements: (i) 3 years of teaching experience as a Resident in the Medical Oncology department of a recognized Medical College. (ii) 1 year of teaching experience after acquiring Post Graduate degree. In the absence of candidates with Senior Residency, those without Senior Residency but possessing all other prescribed qualifications will be considered. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving equivalency at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must serve in the Defence Services or Defence related jobs in India or abroad for 4 years within the first 10 years of service (including training period). This is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and candidates with disabilities. Mandatory confirmation for written/OMR/online exams is required. Candidates must provide Aadhaar card as ID proof in their profile.
