Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject (MD) or DNB in the concerned subject from a recognized university Technical Qualifications: • Permanent registration with State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Three years of teaching experience or other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce Government orders/equivalency certificates at the time of verification.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be from the specified reservation communities. Candidates selected must undergo 4 years of compulsory defense service within the first 10 years of service (including training period), except for those who have completed 45 years of age or those in the differently-abled category. Rules of Procedure Rule 22 applies for false claims.
