Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Jailor Grade I / Superintendent, Sub Jail / Supervisor, Open Prison / Supervisor Borstal School / Armourer, State Institute of Correctional Administration / Lecturer, State Institute of Correctional Administration / Training Officer, State Institute of Correctional Administration / Store Keeper, Open Prison in Jails. Category No: 99/2018. Vacancies: Other Christians (OX) - 1 (One). Scale of Pay: Rs. 30700 - 65400. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only from candidates belonging to OX community). Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-08-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. In case of adult members of SC Converted to Christian religion and their children the upper age limit shall be 41 years, i.e., Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2000. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree of a recognized University. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit and possess minimum physical standards: Height - at least 165 cms, Chest - at least 81.3 cms round the chest on full expiration with a chest expansion of 5 cm. Vision Standards: Distant Vision (Right Eye 6/6 Snellen, Left Eye 6/6 Snellen), Near Vision (Right Eye 0.5 Snellen, Left Eye 0.5 Snellen), full field of vision, free from colour blindness, squint, or any other morbid condition. Must be free from apparent physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Foot, Varicose veins, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)ii of Part II KS & SSR is applicable for this selection.
