Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Architectural Draftsman Grade I in Public Works Department (Architectural Wing). Category No: 59/2021. Vacancies: 03 (Three). Scale of Pay: 26,500-56,700 /-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-05-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Communities. Persons in the Kerala State Public Works Department (Architectural Wing) Subordinate Service and those in the Last Grade Service in the Public Works Department who possess necessary qualifications shall be exempted from the upper age limit prescribed, provided the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Three years Diploma (after Secondary School) in Architecture awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Government of Kerala or Government of India or its equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Proficiency in Computer drafting in AutoCAD level 1 & 2 or in any similar Architectural CAD software notified as equivalent by the Government of Kerala from time to time. Proficiency shall be proved by conducting a Practical Test by the Public Service Commission at the time of selection. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order/ Equivalency certificate from the institution concerned to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
The Ranked list published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and up to three years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if a Written/OMR/Online test is conducted. Disciplinary action as per Rules of Procedure Rule 22 will be initiated against candidates with bogus claims. Candidates should add AADHAR as ID Proof in their profile.
