Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Architectural Assistant in Public Works Department (Architectural Wing). Category No: 569/2023. Vacancies: 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 55200-115300/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from among persons who possess qualifications required and have rendered service of not less than two years in any of the categories under Kerala Architectural Subordinate Service. Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-01-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in Architecture from a recognized University • OR Associate Membership of the Indian Institute of Architects (AIIA), Bombay Technical Qualifications: • Must possess a valid current Certificate of Registration with the Council of Architecture, New Delhi set up under the Architects Act 1972 (Central Act 20 of 1972) by the Government of India. Experience Required: Must have rendered service of not less than two years in any of the categories under Kerala Architectural Subordinate Service. The Candidates should produce along with the application form a Service Certificate (in original) in the prescribed form obtained from the Head of office / Department to prove the length of service. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS &SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
