Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Educational Psychology in Collegiate Education (Government Training Colleges). Category No: 875/2025 - 876/2025. Vacancies: 1 (One). Scale of Pay: UGC Scale. Method of Appointment: I) By-Transfer Recruitment (875/2025) from Headmasters and High School Teachers in the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service and Teachers of Government Higher Secondary Schools. II) Direct Recruitment (876/2025) (Direct recruitment will be considered only in the absence of qualified candidates for recruitment by transfer).. Age limit

For Recruitment By-Transfer: No upper age limit. For Direct Recruitment: 22-50 (Candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2003, both dates included). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Masters degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic records. • M.Ed degree with not less than 55% marks. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed a comprehensive test specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. Experience Required: Three years teaching experience in Schools or Colleges after acquiring the Professional qualifications. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post are acceptable.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must adhere to Part II of the KS&SSR. Candidates applying for By-Transfer must produce a service certificate. Ph.D holders are exempted from NET. Weightage marks are awarded for non-qualifying degrees (Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship).
