Age limit

18-41. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Should have passed Standard VII and should not have acquired any Degree. Physical Standards: Good physique is required for specific posts like Matron (Balamandir, Kozhikode), Watch Woman, Cleaner/Sewer Cleaner in PWD, Gate Keeper Gr. II and Lascar Gr. II in Printing Department, and candidates will be advised only after obtaining Medical Certificate from a Medical Officer in Govt. Service not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

Every person appointed to a post in respect of this notification shall be on probation for a total period of one year on duty within a continuous period of three years. Paragraphs two, three and twenty five of the General Condition (except Rule 3(c), Part II KS&SSR) are not applicable.
