Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS) in the concerned subject or DNB in the concerned subject from a recognized University. Technical Qualifications: • Three years of teaching experience or other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. • Permanent registration with State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council). Experience Required: Three years of teaching experience or other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Residency period for PG degree is considered as teaching experience. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable.

Candidates selected must serve in the Defence Services or related jobs in India or abroad for 4 years within the first 10 years of service (including training period). This is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age.
