Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) LPS in Education. Category No: 77/2025 – 79/2025. Vacancies: District-wise (Kozhikkode, Palakkad, Kannur). Scale of Pay: ₹ 35,600 – 75,400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to Dheevara, SCCC & Scheduled Tribe community only. [In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community will also be considered].. Applications must be submitted online on or before 04-06-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

For Dheevara & SCCC: 18-43 (Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007). Upper age limit shall be 45 years for adult members of SC and children converted to Christianity (born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Arabic as an optional subject or as second language; OR • A pass in Afzal-Al-Ulama Preliminary examination; OR • A pass in the Pre Degree examination with Arabic as an optional subject; OR • A pass in the SSLC examination from Arabic Oriental School or from academic school with Arabic as First Language conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala and a pass in Higher Secondary examination; OR • A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala; OR • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and Degree/ Post Graduate Degree in Arabic language conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • AND A pass in the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Arabic), in short D.El.Ed (Arabic), examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • OR (Item II): A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala; OR A title of Oriental learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala; OR A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University; OR A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala; OR A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language; OR A pass in SSLC Examination or its equivalent and any one of the following: (i) Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), (ii) Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), (iii) Arabic Teachers Examination, (iv) Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala and Calicut Universities. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than that notified will be summarily rejected. Selection will be made on a revenue district basis subject to special conditions laid down in G.O.(Ms).No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile.
