Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Laboratory Technician Grade - II in Health Services. Category No: 714/2022. Vacancies: District-wise (Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod - Anticipated Vacancies). Scale of Pay: 35,600 – 75,400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• Pass in Pre-Degree with Science subjects with not less than 50% marks or 'B' Grade. (Relaxation of 10% marks for SC/ST and 5% for socially and educationally backward classes as per G.O.(P) No. 208/66/PD dated 21.05.1966).
Technical Qualifications:
• Successful completion of Medical Laboratory Technician Training Course conducted by the Medical Colleges in Kerala or by the Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram, or equivalent qualification.
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders/higher qualifications will be accepted as per rules.

The selection pursuant to this notification will be subject to the rules framed under G.O.(P) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971 regarding district-wise recruitment. Candidates appointed shall not be transferred out of the district for a period of 5 years. Confirmation (One Time Registration Profile) is mandatory for writing examinations.
