Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor Grade – II in The Kerala State Prosecution Service. Category No: 694/2025. Vacancies: Anticipated vacancies. Scale of Pay: ₹ 56500 – 118100/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 04-02-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

22- 36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Usual relaxation in the upper age limit shall be allowed to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Law conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must be a member of the Bar. • Certificate of Enrollment issued by the Bar Council. Experience Required: Not less than three years of active practice in Criminal Courts as on 1st January 2025, issued by a Judicial Officer not below the rank of a First Class Judicial Magistrate. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the qualification specified for the post are sufficient.
General conditions from the notification
Selection is subject to Part II KS&SSR. Candidates must undergo 180 days training and execute an agreement. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Must pass Account Test for Executive Officers or Account Test (Lower) during probation.
