Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Onco Pathology in Medical Education. Category No: 687/2025. Vacancies: 05 (Five). Scale of Pay: As per UGC norms. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 04-02-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

22-45; Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • DM in Onco Pathology • MD/DNB in Pathology Technical Qualifications: • Have completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research from a recognised medical institution designated by the National Medical Commission. • Permanent Registration under Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC)/ Council for Modern Medicine Experience Required: For MD/DNB in Pathology: At least three years of experience in a medical institution with an exclusive department or unit dedicated to the specialty, having separate and dedicated infrastructure and faculty members who are not concurrently shown as part of any other department or unit; OR at least three years of experience in an institute of national importance with a dedicated department or unit in the specified specialty; OR at least three years of experience in a reputed or recognised institute of excellence in India or abroad, approved by the National Medical Commission, running a department or unit dedicated to the specified specialty; AND shall have at least two research publications in the concerned specialty during the three years period specified above and must be amongst first three authors. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications are as per NMC Regulations 2025, Medical Institutions (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations, 2025 dated 30.06.2025.
