Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) LPS in Education. Category No: 671/2024-676/2024. Vacancies: District-wise (Kollam district: SC - 01, ST - 01, SCCC - 01, OBC - 01, Dheevara - 01, Hindu-Nadar - 01). Scale of Pay: ₹35600 - 75400. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, SCCC, OBC, Dheevara and Hindu-Nadar communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

For SC & ST: 18-45. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible. For SCCC, OBC, Dheevara & Hindu-Nadar: 18-43. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Arabic as an optional subject or as second language; OR • A pass in Afzal-Al-Ulama Preliminary examination; OR • A pass in the Pre Degree examination with Arabic as an optional subject; OR • A pass in the SSLC examination from Arabic Oriental School or from academic school with Arabic as First Language conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala and a pass in Higher Secondary examination; OR • A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala; OR • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and Degree/ Post Graduate Degree in Arabic language conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala Technical Qualifications: • A pass in the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Arabic), in short D.El.Ed (Arabic), examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post.

The selection will be made on a revenue district basis subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(Ms).No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than notified will be summarily rejected.
