Age limit

Category – i (Open Market) – 20-31 : Only candidates born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included). Category – ii (Ministerial) – Should not have completed 36 years of age as on 01.01.2022. Category – iii (Constabulary) – Should not have completed 36 years of age as on 01.01.2022. (Relaxation in upper age limit as per para 2 of the Part II General conditions is applicable). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Graduation • Intermediate/Pre University Examinations of recognised University (only in the absence of sufficient number of qualified SC/ST candidates for Category i) Experience Required: Two years of service in Police/Vigilance Department for Category No. 670/2022 (Ministerial staff) and corresponding rank for Category No. 671/2022 (Constabulary). Physical Standards: Male - Height: 165.10 cm (160.02 cm for SC/ST), Chest: 81.28 cm, Chest Expansion: 5.08 cm. Female - Height: 160 cm (155 cm for SC/ST). Vision standards: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen without glasses for both eyes. Full field of vision required. Free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat feet, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular or protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Must qualify in 5 events out of 8 in the Physical Efficiency Test of One Star Standard. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
