Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of L.P. School Teacher (Kannada Medium) in General Education. Category No: 661/2025 - 662/2025. Vacancies: District wise (Kasargod: Cat 661/2025 - Hindu Nadar II NCA - 1, Cat 662/2025 - Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian I NCA - 1, II NCA - 1). Scale of Pay: ₹ 35,600 – 75,400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Hindu Nadar and Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 04-02-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. • OR A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. • OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by Government as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in TTC (Kannada) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (or D.Ed / D.El.Ed). • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET Category I) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable for selection to this post. In the absence of candidates with TTC (Kannada) of Kerala, candidates with TCH (Mysore) shall be considered for appointment. B.Ed certificate will not be considered in lieu of TTC (Kannada) qualification.

General conditions from the notification
The selection will be made on a revenue district basis subject to special conditions in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List are not eligible for transfer to another district unless they complete five years continuous service. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile when required.
