Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/B.T degree in the concerned subject from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-Degree examination with Tamil as first or second language OR must have obtained a Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Tamil. Experience Required: Must be a regular employee (Full Member) or Approved Probationer in the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service as on the date of application, having completed not less than 5 years of service as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, or Binder in the General Education Department. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalent qualifications and higher qualifications are acceptable. Candidates must produce Government orders regarding equivalency if required by the Commission.
General conditions from the notification
The appointment is by transfer. Reservation rules under Part II of KS&SSR are not applicable. Candidates must have sufficient knowledge of Tamil. Confirmation for examination is mandatory for those who apply.
