Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Non-Vocational Teacher (Junior) Physics in Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 587/2022. Vacancies: 02 (Two). Scale of Pay: ₹ 45600 - 95600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

23-40. Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is applicable to Other Backward Communities, SC/ST candidates. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in Physics with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • Concession of 5% marks in Post Graduate Degree will be given to SC/ST and Differently Abled candidates. Technical Qualifications: • B.Ed. in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree acquired in the concerned Faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of the above, B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • Candidates who have acquired B.Ed. degree from recognized universities outside Kerala are also eligible, provided that if appointed, they shall acquire B.Ed. degree at their own expense within 5 years from the date of joining service. • M.Ed. degree in the concerned subject acquired through regular study from any University in Kerala is exempted from B.Ed. qualification. • Pass in State Eligibility Test (SET) for Non-Vocational Teacher conducted by Kerala Government or an agency authorized by the Government. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Government orders granting equivalency/higher qualifications will be accepted.
General conditions from the notification
The rules and general conditions stipulated in Part II of KS&SSR, probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years, and other general conditions are applicable.
