Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable Driver (For Ex-servicemen only) in Kerala Police. Category No: 583/2023. Vacancies: Statewide - 35 (Thirty Five). Scale of Pay: ₹ 31100-66800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-01-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed Higher Secondary (Plus Two) or its equivalent examination. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess current valid Driving Licence of Motor Cycle with gear, Light Motor Vehicles, Heavy Passenger Vehicles, and Heavy Goods Vehicles. • Must possess Drivers Badge. Experience Required: Special selection from Ex-servicemen who have served as Drivers in the Military/Central Armed Forces. Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 168 cm (161 cm for SC/ST candidates). Chest: Minimum 81 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion (76 cm with 5 cm expansion for SC/ST). Eye Sight: Distant vision 6/6 snellen for both eyes, Near vision 0.5 snellen for both eyes. Full vision in each eye. Colour blindness, night blindness, squint, or any morbid conditions of eyes/lids are disqualifications. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Part II KS&SSR, probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years, and execution of a security bond.
