Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Arabic in Collegiate Education Department. Category No: 578/2025. Vacancies: Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 1 (One). Scale of Pay: UGC Scale. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment [Only from candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST) community. But the applications of Scheduled Caste candidates will also be considered in the absence of Scheduled Tribe candidates.]. Applications must be submitted online on or before 14-01-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Masters Degree in the subject concerned with not less than Fifty percentage ( 50% ) marks or its equivalent and good academic record. • Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state government in this behalf. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable.
