Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Third Grade Draftsman / Third Grade Overseer in Local Self Government. Category No: 567/2025. Vacancies: District wise (Anticipated Vacancies). Scale of Pay: ₹ 26,500 – 60,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 14-01-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • SSLC or its equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Kerala Government Certificate Examination (2 years course) in Civil Engineering. • Diploma in Craftsmanship in the trade of Draftsman (Civil) obtained after 18 months course (followed by 6 months practical training) at the Industrial Training Institutes/Centres, conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of Labour/Ministry of Skilled Development. • Diploma (2 years course) in Civil Engineering in Women's Polytechnics. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of KS&SSR Part II is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post.
