Age limit

18 - 41. Candidates must have been born between 02/01/1980 and 01/01/2003 (both dates included). Upper age relaxation up to 50 years for qualified candidates in the absence of candidates within the regular age limit, but in no case shall it exceed 50 years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in any subject from a University recognized by the UGC / Government of India / Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Equivalency certificate from the government must be produced at the time of verification if claiming equivalent qualification.

General conditions from the notification
The rules and conditions regarding General Conditions (paras 2, 3, 25 except rule 3(c) of Part II KS&SSR) are not applicable to this selection. Selected candidates must undergo Magisterial training for 8 weeks (6 weeks from Police Department and 2 weeks from Judicial Department) before completing probation. Probation period is 3 years total service within a continuous period of 3 years of which 2 years shall be active probation. Must pass Criminal Judicial Test (exempted for law degree holders), Account Test (Lower), Revenue Test, and Survey Test (Higher)(Chain Survey - Practical Test) during probation.
