Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time High School Teacher (Arabic) in Education. Category No: 550/2022 – 551/2022. Vacancies: District wise: Thrissur (01 - Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian), Kasaragod (01 - Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava). Scale of Pay: ₹ 26500 - 60700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian and Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 18-01-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Relaxation as per rules applies, provided the maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic or a degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if such title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. Higher qualifications with prescribed qualification as basic qualification will be accepted.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if a written/OMR/Online test is conducted. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again.
