Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Std VII or equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • Must possess current Motor Driving Licence to drive Light Motor Vehicles and Heavy Motor vehicles with Driver’s Badge • Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence shall be of at least 3 years standing • In case of Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979, separate endorsement to drive Heavy duty Goods Vehicles and Heavy Duty Passenger Vehicles Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear (Hearing should be perfect), Eye (Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen for both eyes, Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes, Colour Vision: Normal, Night Blindness: Nil), Muscles and joints (No Paralysis and all joints with free movements), Nervous System (Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases) Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Qualification recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post is acceptable.
