Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Confidential Assistant GR-II (Ex-Servicemen only) in Sainik Welfare. Category No: 540/2016. Vacancies: District wise: Thiruvananthapuram – 1. Scale of Pay: 10,480 – 18,300/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Ex-Servicemen only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-50. Candidates born between 2.1.1966 and 1.1.1998 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post (including the period of Military Service). Relaxation in upper age limit will not be allowed to this post. Candidates selected should not have completed 56 years of age while joining duty. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus 2 or its equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting English (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent • Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting Malayalam (KGTE) or its equivalent • Lower Grade Certificate in Short Hand English (KGTE) or its equivalent • Lower Grade Certificate in Short Hand Malayalam (KGTE) or its equivalent Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Certificate in Computer Word Processing issued by Central/State Govt. department, Agencies, Societies, Universities after successfully completing a course of study of not less than three months duration are considered as equivalent to KGTE Computer Word Processing. Certificates obtained from Government alone will be accepted as proof of Typewriting qualification.
General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates advised from the Ranked List are not eligible for transfer to another district unless they complete five years of continuous service. 3% of vacancies are reserved for physically disabled persons (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy).
