Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Assistant (Tamil) in Education. Category No: 527/2013. Vacancies: District wise (Kollam - 1, Palakkad - 1, Wayanad - 1). Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,380 – 25,900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-40. Only candidates born between 2.1.1973 and 1.1.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation (maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Tamil and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR A Title of Oriental learning in Tamil awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Govt Examinations, Kerala. • Post graduates in Tamil are also eligible to apply provided they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: B.Ed should also be in the concerned subject.

The selection will be made on a Revenue District basis subject to special conditions. Application should not be submitted to more than one district. No application fee is required. Applications submitted are provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission.
