Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) LPS in General Education. Category No: 525/2025 – 527/2025. Vacancies: District-wise (Palakkad: 01 vacancy for each category: SCCC, OBC, Scheduled Tribe). Scale of Pay: ₹ 35,600 – 75,400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to SCCC, OBC and Scheduled Tribe communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-12-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Arabic as an optional subject or as second language • A pass in Afzal-Al-Ulama Preliminary examination • A pass in the Pre Degree examination with Arabic as an optional subject • A pass in the SSLC examination from Arabic Oriental School or from academic school with Arabic as First Language and a pass in Higher Secondary examination • A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and Degree/ Post Graduate Degree in Arabic language • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A title of Oriental learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University • A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course • A pass in SSLC Examination with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language • A pass in SSLC Examination and any one of the following: Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher/Lower), Arabic Teachers Examination, or Arabic Entrance Examination of Kerala/Calicut Universities Technical Qualifications: • A pass in the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Arabic) (D.El.Ed (Arabic)) • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent are accepted.
