Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) UPS in General Education. Category No: 517/2025 - 521/2025. Vacancies: District-wise. Scale of Pay: ₹ 35,600 – 75,400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to OBC, Viswakarma, Hindu Nadar, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities only. [In the case of 4th & 5th NCA Notification, in the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community and vice versa will also be considered].. Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-12-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

For OBC, Viswakarma & Hindu Nadar: 18-43 (Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007). For SC & ST: 18-45 (Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007). Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Arabic as an optional subject or as second language • A pass in Afzal-Al-Ulama Preliminary examination • A pass in the Pre Degree examination with Arabic as an optional subject • A pass in the SSLC examination from Arabic Oriental School or from academic school with Arabic as First Language conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala and a pass in Higher Secondary examination • A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and Degree/ Post Graduate Degree in Arabic language conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A title of Oriental learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University • A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and a pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), Arabic Teachers Examination, or Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala and Calicut Universities • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognized by Universities in Kerala Technical Qualifications: • A pass in the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Arabic), in short D.El.Ed (Arabic), examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • A Degree in Arabic and B.Ed in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) conducted by the Government of Kerala Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than that notified will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall submit application for the post to any one of the districts where the vacancy is existing for the respective community. Selection is made on revenue district basis subject to G.O.(Ms).No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971.
