Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time High School Teacher (Arabic) in Education. Category No: 513/2020-514/2020. Vacancies: District wise (Thrissur - 01 for Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian, Kasargod - 01 for Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava). Scale of Pay: Rs. 19,000-43,600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-02-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43. Only candidates born between 2.1.1977 and 1.1.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic or a degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if such title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Post Graduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T. • B.Ed should be in the concerned language Arabic. • The candidates who have acquired B.A (Arabic & Islamic history) double main degree conducted by Calicut University are also eligible to apply for this post (G.O (Ms) No. 114/2018/G.Edn dtd 16.08.2018) Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post.

General conditions from the notification
The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. Candidates advised for appointment from the Ranked List are not eligible for transfer to another district unless they complete five years continuous service. Part II KS&SSR are applicable.
