Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in various subjects (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes only) in Ayurveda Medical Education. Category No: 500/2022 – 502/2022. Vacancies: One vacancy each for the following subjects: 1. Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana (500/2022), 2. Dravyaguna (501/2022), 3. Prasuti and Streeroga (502/2022). Scale of Pay: ₹15600-39100/- AGP 6000 (UGC). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 04-01-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject in Ayurveda from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto. • In the absence of Post Graduate degree holders in any subject, Post Graduate degree qualifications prescribed by the Central Council of Indian Medicine from time to time shall be accepted. Technical Qualifications: • 'A' Class permanent registration from the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council (Council of Indian Medicine). Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Government orders regarding equivalent qualifications/higher qualifications must be produced when required by the Commission.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be from the Scheduled Tribe community. Applications from non-ST candidates will be rejected. Probation period is 2 years within a continuous service period of 3 years. Candidates must provide confirmation for exams via their profile. Failure to follow instructions or providing false information will lead to disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure Rule 22.
