Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Draftsman Grade-II in Kerala Water Authority. Category No: 485/2020. Vacancies: 17 (Seventeen). Scale of Pay: ₹ 23100-58700. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-02-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in any one of the following examinations (A to K) Technical Qualifications: • Two years Overseer Course from S.M.T (Sree Moolam Technical Institute) • Draftsman Course from Guindy Engineering College • KGTE or MGTE Group Certificate (must include Building Drawing, Building Construction, Survey & Irrigation) • KGTE/MGTE in 8 subjects: Surveying & Levelling (Higher), Applied Mechanics (Higher), Building Materials & Construction (Higher), Hydraulics & Irrigation (Higher), Building Drawing & Estimating (Higher), Earth Works & Road Making (Higher), Geometrical Drawing (Lower) or Practical Plane & Solid Geometry (Lower), Mensuration (Lower) • Two years Certificate Course from College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram • 18 months Industrial Training Course and 6 months Practical Training in Draftsman (Civil) or (Mechanical) from Government of India Labour Department • Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Civil or Mechanical Engineering • National Apprenticeship Certificate in Draftsman (Civil) or (Mechanical) after at least 3 years of full-time apprenticeship • Overseers Course conducted by the Government • KGTE/MGTE in Surveying & Levelling (Higher) and any three of: Building Drawing & Estimating (Higher), Building Materials & Construction (Higher), Earth Works & Road Making (Higher), Applied Mechanics (Higher), Hydraulics & Irrigation (Higher) • Diploma in Civil Engineering after two years course from Women's Polytechnics in the State Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must provide confirmation for exams via OTR profile. 3% vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment) as per G.O(P)No.1/2013/SJD.
