Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr II (LDV) / Driver Cum - Office Attendant (LDV) in Various. Category No: 470/2020 - 472/2020. Vacancies: District wise (Community wise) - Hindu Nadar (Thrissur: 01, Kozhikode: 01), SCCC (Malappuram: 01), SIUC Nadar (Pathanamthitta: 01, Alappuzha: 01, Ernakulam: 01). Scale of Pay: ₹ 18,000 - 41,500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to the above reservation communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-02-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

1. 18-42 (Candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2002 both dates included). 2. 18-44 in the case of SCCC candidates who have converted to Christianity from SC communities after attaining 18 years and children of such parents born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2002. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive light motor vehicle with Drivers Badge. • Proficiency in Driving Light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a Practical Test (including 'H' Test) conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear (Hearing should be perfect), Eye (Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen for both right and left eye, Near vision: 0.5 Snellen, Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil), Muscles and joints (No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement), Nervous System (Perfectly normal and free from infectious diseases). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. The Drivers Badge has been exempted for driving light Motor vehicles from 12.10.2018.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
