Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• A Degree in Sanskrit and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala
• A Title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognised by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala
Technical Qualifications:
• B.Ed. should be in the concerned Language
• Post Graduates in Sanskrit are also eligible to apply provided they have B.Ed/B.T/L.T

Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
Siksha Sastri Examination of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan and Kameswar Singh Darbhanga University of Bihar are equivalent to B.Ed. Title of Oriental Learning in the concerned language awarded or recognised by the Universities in Kerala shall be accepted in lieu of Degree if declared equivalent to Part III of the Degree.

General conditions from the notification⌄
Selection on Revenue District basis. 3% reservation for PH candidates. Applications should not be submitted to more than one district. Ranked list valid for minimum one year up to three years. If no candidate advised, list extended for one year.
