Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Minimum General Qualification of S.S.L.C standard. Technical Qualifications: • Certificate in Electrical Engineering after having undergone a course of study of not less than one year from an Institution recognized by Government. • OR City and Guilds Examination in Electrical Engineering London Institute in A.C of the Intermediate Grade (Certificate awarded after 31.3.1985 will not be accepted). • OR M.G.T.E or K.G.T.E Certificate (Higher) in Electrical Light and Power. • OR Grade III Certificate as Electrician or Lineman from War Technical Training Centre. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications in Electrical Engineering include: (i) Certificate in Electrical Engineering issued by the Commissioner for Government Examination on behalf of the State Board of Technical Education (one year duration), (ii) National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the Trade of Electrician, (iii) Any other certificate recognized as equivalent.

Candidates must follow Part II of the General Conditions. Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. 4% reservation for differently-abled candidates as per GO(P)No.5/2024/SJD.
