Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) - LPS in Education. Category No: 433/2021 - 436/2021. Vacancies: District wise: Thiruvananthapuram (SC: 4), Alappuzha (SC: 2), Thrissur (SC: 2), Kasargod (SC: 10, ST: 2), Kozhikode (SCCC: 1, Dheevara: 1). Scale of Pay: 25200-54000/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the above mentioned reservation group of communities only). In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled caste community, candidates belonging to scheduled tribe will be considered and vice versa.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-11-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

For Dheevara and SCCC: 18-43 (born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003). For SC and ST: 18-45 (born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003). For adult members of SC and their children converted to Christian religion: 18-45 (born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003). Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following: (i) Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), (ii) Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), (iii) Arabic Teachers Examination, (iv) Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.
