Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Non-Vocational Teacher - English (Junior) in Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 424/2022. Vacancies: Scheduled Tribe - 02 (Two) (NCA). Scale of Pay: 45600-95600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only for Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-11-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in English with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or equivalent qualification. • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of candidates with B.Ed in the concerned subject, B.Ed degree in the concerned faculty acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of candidates with B.Ed qualifications as mentioned above, any B.Ed degree acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of B.Ed degree holders, candidates with Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks and State Eligibility Test (SET) will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates having Ph.D or M.Phil degree or qualified Junior Research Fellowship/National Eligibility Test (NET). The teachers appointed under this provision should acquire B.Ed degree at their own expense within 5 years from the date of appointment. • M.Ed degree in the concerned subject recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Non-Vocational Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by any agency authorized by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalency must produce the Government Order/Equivalency Certificate at the time of certificate verification.
