Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Teacher (Arabic) in General Education. Category No: 424/2021 - 431/2021. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only from candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Scheduled Caste, OBC, Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian, SCCC, Dheevara, Hindu Nadar communities). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-11-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43. Candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible. For Scheduled Caste candidates converted to Christianity (SCCC), the age limit is 18-45, born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation applies. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic or a degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic (if it has been declared as equivalent to Part III of the degree) and a Language Teacher Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Exemption: Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the relevant subject or M.Ed in any subject are exempted from the K-TET requirement. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency of degrees must be proven by government orders at the time of verification.
