Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Nuclear Medicine in Medical Education Service. Category No: 421/2016. Vacancies: 02 (Two). Scale of Pay: 15600 – 39100/- with grade pay of 7,000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21 – 46, Only candidates born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation for OBC, SC, and ST candidates applies, subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Medical Post Graduate Degree such as MD/MS from a recognised University or DNB in the concerned discipline. Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Three years Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of the KS & SSR is applicable. In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, candidates with MBBS Degree from a recognised University and Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (TCMC) will be considered for the post of lecturer in the Scale of Pay 15600-39100/- with grade pay of 5,400/-.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must serve for four years during the first ten years of their service (including training) in defence service or services connected with defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from this. General conditions as per Part II of the KS & SSR apply.
