Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Chief (Plan Co-ordination Division) in State Planning Board. Category No: 416/2016. Vacancies: 1 (One). Scale of Pay: 46,640 – 59,840/- (P.R). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Age 35 – 46. Only candidates born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.1981 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Doctorate in Economics or Statistics of a recognised University or Institution • A Second Class Masters Degree in Economics or Statistics of a recognised University or Institution • A Second Class Masters Degree in Mathematics or Commerce of a recognised University or Institution Experience Required: For Doctorate holders: 4 years experience in Economics or Statistical Work (Theoretical or Applied) in Government Institutions, recognised Universities or other recognised Institutions. For Masters Degree holders: 7 years experience in Economics or Statistical work (Theoretical or Applied) in Government departments or recognised Universities or other recognised Institutions. Experience must be acquired after the acquisition of the academic qualification. Candidates belonging to SC/ST need not possess the experience qualification. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall from the date on which he joined duty, be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Rules of reservation prescribed in General Rules 14 to 17 of Part II of KS&SSR 1958 are not applicable to this post.
