Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Laboratory Technician Gr II/Laboratory Assistant Gr.II in Animal Husbandry. Category No: 414/2013. Vacancies: District wise: Idukki - 1, Kannur - 1. Scale of Pay: Rs.10,480 – 18,300/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 18-12-2013 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36, Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including concessions. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • A pass in Laboratory Technician Course conducted in any of the Medical Colleges in the State or any Institute approved by the Government or under Kerala Agricultural University • Successful completion of Livestock Inspector Training Course and Training in Laboratory Technician conducted by the Kerala Agricultural University • Diploma in Laboratory Technician Course from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal (South India) for a period of 1½ years • A pass in Laboratory Technicians Course for a period of 2 years conducted by the Secretary, State Council of Vocational Education, Karnataka • A pass in the Laboratory Technician Course for a period of 1 year conducted by the Dean, Madras Veterinary College, Madras • Job oriental Pre - University Diploma in H.E. 1-01 Laboratory Technician awarded by Government of Karnataka, State Council of Vocational Education • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology awarded by the Punjab State Medical Faculty • A pass in VHSE in Medical Laboratory Technician Experience Required: Class I Laboratory Assistant from Armed Forces Medical College having 15 years experience in the Army Trade of Laboratory Assistant Class I OR Ex-servicemen having 16 years of experience in the Army Trade of Laboratory Assistant Class I
General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a Revenue District basis. Candidates already in Government Service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Physically disabled persons are eligible for 3% appointment as per G.O(P)No. 1/13/SJD dated 03.01.2013.
