Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Armed Police Assistant Sub Inspector in Kerala Police Service (Armed Police Battalion). Category No: 407/2020. Vacancies: 02 (Two) (Special Recruitment for ST only). Scale of Pay: ₹ 30700-65400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-02-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Pre-Degree examination of a recognised University or any equivalent qualification. Physical Standards: Must be Physically fit. Candidates should possess minimum physical standards: Height - 160 cm, Chest Measurement - 81 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm. Vision standards: Distant Vision (Left Eye: 6/6 Snellen, Right Eye: 6/6 Snellen), Near Vision (Left Eye: 0.5 Snellen, Right Eye: 0.5 Snellen). Full field of vision required; colour blindness, squint, or morbid conditions are disqualifications. Free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat feet, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
