Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver in Excise. Category No: 406/2021. Vacancies: District-wise (Anticipated vacancies in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod). Scale of Pay: 19,000 – 43,600/- (P.R.). Method of Appointment: By Transfer (District-wise). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-11-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• Pass in SSLC or equivalent examination (KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable).
Technical Qualifications:
• Must possess current valid Driving Licence of Heavy Goods & Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles with 3 years experience of driving Heavy Goods & Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles and Drivers Badge.
Experience Required:
3 years experience of driving Heavy Goods & Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles.
Physical Standards:
Must be physically fit. Height: Not less than 165 cm (160 cm for SC/ST candidates). Chest: Not less than 83 cm with a minimum expansion of 4 cm. Must have normal vision without glasses (Right Eye: Distant 6/6 snellen, Near 0.5 snellen; Left Eye: Distant 6/6 snellen, Near 0.5 snellen). Colour vision, freedom from night blindness, squint, or morbid conditions of eyes/lids are mandatory.
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
