Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver in Excise. Category No: 405/2021. Vacancies: District-wise (Anticipated vacancies in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod). Scale of Pay: 19,000 – 43,600/- (P.R.). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (District-wise). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-11-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• Must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination.
Technical Qualifications:
• Must possess a valid driving license for Heavy Goods & Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles with 3 years of experience.
• Must possess a valid Driver's Badge.
Experience Required:
3 years of experience in driving Heavy Goods & Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles.
Physical Standards:
Height: 165 cm (160 cm for SC/ST candidates). Chest: 83 cm with a minimum expansion of 4 cm. Must be medically fit with good hearing and vision standards (6/6 Snellen for distant vision and 0.5 Snellen for near vision in both eyes, no night blindness, no colour blindness).
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
