Kerala PSC has invited applications for Motor Mechanic in Health Services (Category No. 398/2020). Vacancies: District wise: Thiruvananthapuram – 01, Pathanamthitta – 01, Idukki – 01, Kannur – 01; pay scale: ₹. 19,000 - 43,600/-; method of appointment: Direct Recruitment. Age limit

18-39. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Certificate in Automobile Engineering issued after 18 (Eighteen) months course in Industrial Training Institute with 6 months Implant Training compulsory. Technical Qualifications: • Possession of a Motor Driving Licence. Experience Required: Two years practical experience in repairs and maintenance of Motor Vehicles in a recognised Automobile Workshop. The experience must be acquired after acquisition of Certificate in Automobile Engineering. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order at the time of verification.

Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates must submit application to only one district. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile if a test is conducted.
