Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • OR Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University • OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of the Higher Secondary Board, Kerala • OR SSLC Examination of the Kerala Government Examination Commissioner with Arabic as First Language (Part I and II) • OR SSLC or its equivalent examination, plus one of the following: 1) Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination, 2) Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination, 3) Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) Arabic Entrance Examination of Kerala or Calicut University Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post Experience Required: Must be a Full Member or Approved Probationer in the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service as of the date of application. Must have at least 5 years of service as Clerk, Typist, Attender, or Office Attendant in the General Education Department as of the date of application. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. BA Arabic & Islamic History Double Main degree is also an accepted qualification.

Candidates must be a Full Member or Approved Probationer in the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service. Reservation rules under KS&SSR Part II Rules 14-17 are not applicable for By Transfer appointments.
