Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Lower Division Typist (By Transfer) in Various. Category No: 389/2014. Vacancies: 10% of vacancies arising in the cadre of L.D. Typist. Scale of Pay: 9,940 - 16,580/-. Method of Appointment: Recruitment by transfer (from persons holding low paid posts in the Government Services). Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-10-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus 2 or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Lower Grade Certificate in KGTE Malayalam Typewriting or its equivalent. • Lower Grade Certificate in KGTE English Typewriting and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent. (Those who have passed KGTE Typewriting(English) lower before January 2002 should produce separate certificate in Computer Word Processing or its equivalent.) Experience Required: The applicant should be an approved probationer/full member of the Kerala Government Subordinate Service (including Part Time Contingent Services). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for selection to this post. Certificates in Computer Word Processing issued by Central, State Government Departments/Agencies/ Societies, Universities after successfully completing course of study not less than three months duration are considered as equivalent.

General conditions from the notification
Applications should not be submitted to more than one district. The selection will be made on a revenue district basis. Candidates advised for appointment in one district are not eligible for transfer to another district unless they complete five years continuous service. Rules regarding reservation of appointment contemplated in Rules 14 to 17 of Part II of KS&SSR, 1958 are not applicable to appointment By Transfer.
