Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of II Grade Overseer (Civil) / II Grade Draftsman (Civil) (Special Recruitment for SC/ST) in Public Works/Irrigation. Category No: 388/2024. Vacancies: SC/ST - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 31,100 – 66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 04-12-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Group Certificate under KGTE or Equivalent Examinations (must include Building Drawing, Building Construction, Survey and Irrigation) • A pass in eight subjects: Surveying and Leveling (Higher), Applied Mechanics (Higher), Building Material and Construction (Higher), Hydraulics and Irrigation (Higher), Building, Drawing and Estimating (Higher), Earth work and Road Making (Higher), Geometrical Drawing (Lower) or Practical Plane and Solid Geometry (Lower), Mensuration (Lower) • Diploma in Craftsmanship in the trade of 'Draftsman (Civil)' or 'Surveyor' obtained after 18 months course (followed by 6 months practical training) at ITI/Centres conducted by Govt of India, Ministry of Labour • Diploma in Civil Engineering (Two year Course) of the Women's Polytechnic of the state Technical Qualifications: • KGTE Group Certificate or equivalent • Diploma in Craftsmanship in the trade of 'Draftsman (Civil)' or 'Surveyor' • Diploma in Civil Engineering (Two year Course) of the Women's Polytechnic Experience Required: 6 months practical training required for ITI Diploma holders (provisional appointment allowed until completion) Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent are acceptable.
