Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in English in Collegiate Education (Training Colleges). Category No: 384/2021 & 385/2021. Vacancies: 1 (One). Scale of Pay: UGC Scale. Method of Appointment: By Transfer (Category No. 384/2021) from qualified and experienced Headmasters, High School Assistants, Government Higher Secondary School Teachers in Kerala General Education Subordinate Service. Direct Recruitment (Category No. 385/2021) in the absence of qualified hands under By Transfer method.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-11-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

For By Transfer: No upper age limit. For Direct Recruitment: 22-40. Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included). Usual age relaxations applicable for SC/ST and other backward communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks and good academic record (G.O.(P) No. 115/2008/H.Edn. Dated 27.09.2008). • M.Ed. Degree with not less than 55% marks (G.O.(P)No.102/2011/H.Edn. Dated 19.07.2011). Technical Qualifications: • Passing of Comprehensive Test (NET) for the post conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar agency specially created by State Government. Experience Required: Three years teaching experience in a School/College after acquiring professional qualification. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. Equivalency orders/Government orders must be produced during verification for equivalent qualifications.

General conditions from the notification
The rank list prepared pursuant to this notification shall cease to be in force after one year from the date of finalization of the rank list or after 3 years, whichever is earlier. Rules of reservation under Rule 14-17 of Part II of KS&SSR 1958 are not applicable for By Transfer appointment. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing examination through their One Time Registration profile when required.
