Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Ayah (Special Recruitment - from among qualified Scheduled Tribe Women candidates residing at respective locality) in Scheduled Tribe Development Department. Category No: 364/2016. Vacancies: District wise (Thiruvananthapuram - 2, Kollam - 4, Pathanamthitta - 2, Alappuzha - 1, Kottayam - 2, Idukki - 12, Ernakulam - 4, Thrissur - 5, Palakkad - 23, Malappuram - 10, Kozhikode - 4, Wayanad - 28, Kannur - 8, Kasaragod - 3). Scale of Pay: ₹ 16500 – 35700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among qualified Scheduled Tribe Women only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 14-12-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Age limit
18-41. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years.

Educational Qualifications:
• Should have passed Standard VII and should not have acquired Graduation.
Experience Required:
Experience for not less than one year as "Ayah" of children gained from a Government Institution or from any Institution registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 (Central Act XXI of 1860) of the Travancore Cochin Literacy Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955 (XII of 1955). (Experience should be the one gained after acquiring the General Educational Qualification).

Appointments are made on the basis of the rank secured in the ranked list of candidates prepared in pursuance of this notification subject to the conditions laid down in G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated, 17.01.1976 and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated, 22.01.1994 allowing special reservations to Scheduled Tribes in accordance with the procedures made for this purpose from time to time and subject to the rules under sections 3(c), 17(a), 17(b) of Part II of Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1958.
